Headlamps for all MG MMM & TA/TB & TC models

HEADLAMPS....an item we have always specialised in, priding ourselves on supplying both the individual and the trade all over the world.   Unlike so many you see advertised which are a mish-mash of original components incorrectly put together, out lamps are assembled to Lucas specification and we have components fully restored to build lamps for any MMM or T type MG.

(We are unable to supply  the  original M/D/F/J  ROTAX type K624 or K624/2 although we do occasional get good pairs of originals of these which will be advertised seperately if available.)

Lucas bought out Rotax in January 1933 and for some time used their '140' shell with 'Rotax' badges fitted, but this was soon dropped in favour of the standard 'King-of-the-Road' medallion.

We can offer the correct lamps for each model, with the Lucas equivelents for the earliest models.                                           All lamps are totally restored with 'King-of-the-Road' medallions and supplied with double pole bulb holders and twin filament sbc 36/36w bulbs, and fully wired with main/dip/earth wires ready to fit to your wiring loom.

• M/D models.........for these models we make whole new lamps to the Rotax 7" specification, with rolled rims and flat frosted lenses...........primererd backs and chrome rims................Amazing value for new lamps........................£795pair.
• J/F/early L models.....Original 8.25" Lucas type L140 lamps fully restored as described  in 'bold' above to original specification with primered or chrome shells, re-silvered reflectors and chromed rolled rims with flat frosted lenses, wired, ready to fit.............Primer £695pr. / all chrome....£985pr.
• PA/PB & TA models....Original 8.25" Lucas type LB140 lamps as described in 'bold' above, with semi-rolled rims, original shallow dished 'U' pattern lenses, 'flower head' rim retaining screws, all chrome with raised medallions.........wired, ready to fit ...........................£985pair.
• Late L type/ some K models/ NA/NB models........Original 9.25" Lucas type L150 lamps as described in 'bold' above,  with semi-rolled rims, original shallow dished  'U' pattern lenses, flower head rim retaining screws, all chrome,  with raised medallions, wired ready to fit........£995pair.
  
• TB/early TC models......Original 8.25" Lucas type MB140  lamps as described in 'bold' above,  with semi-rolled rims, original shallow-dished 'U' pattern lenses, pull clip rim retainers, all chrome, with recessed medallions, wired ready to fit .............£990pr.
  
• Late TC models..........Original 8.25" Lucas type MB 140 lamps as desccribed in 'bold' above, with open edge rims, bulbuous 'cats-eye' pattern lenses, pull clip rim retainers, with recessed medallions, wired,  ready to fit.............................................£995pr.
  

All owners note:

Where stock is plentiful we can offer all lamp parts as individual components.

For those with original shells, but fitted with middle fifties Lucas sealed beam units, and who would like to revert to the original lamps, we can offer a complete lamp package back to original (everything you need) except shells.....£650pr.

STONEGUARDS......these are available for every models except late TC.  Ours differ greatly from many on the market being chrome brass weave, fine thin rims & superior fixings...............£265 per car set.     All stoneguards need fitting to the rims which we are happy to do free of charge where guards are required on lamps being purchased from us.  If you already have your lamps,  we offer a free instruction notepad on how to fit, or bring them in, and we'll fit for £20per lamp.
