We are proud to announce that we were able to remanufacture a first batch of very rare prewar Weber 45DCO carburettors as fitted on Maserati and other marques racing cars from that period. As visible on the pictures an original sourced carburettor was used to manufacture the new ones as close as possible to the original. Included in..
MARVEL 36 mm updraught carburettor, looks in good condition and should be easy to restore. Its hotbox control valve still moves freely. Model 10-47 cast in housing, also H2. Would suit e.g. 1918 Buick etc. Location: OWS
Making a Bugatti run well on methanol is a balancing act , from the 1970’s and eighties racer’s found that they could modify a pre war SU carb to allow very strong performance on the race track. Even today the fastest GP cars run a SU carb on track. This one was used in the US on a GP car that has now retired from racing.
