1904 Twin-Cam at a price. (UPDATE: expose on rise and fall of the T-head engine)

Last Saturday's auction at Paris' Retromobile by Christie's showed that the market has an appetite for highly usable top automobiles. Not only a 1934 Riley Imp performed great at € 129,250. A 1904 Charron Girardot & Voigt, Model H1 side entrance Phaeton, with 6,3 Litre DUHC (U=Under) performed exceptionally well. This state of the art motorcar is not only capable to upgrade a quality museum significantly. Also to transport a small group with relative safety, speed and distinction from London to Brighton and back. Such a rare combination of qualities found its reward: € 374,250.
