Special stunt at the Meadow Brook Concours was a display of four in line motorcycles. The main picture is showing two (1929 & ? ) Henderson KJ bikes. The full range started with a (Belgium made) 1905 F.N. up to a (Dutch made) 1971 Munch 'Mammut' with 1200cc NSU TT engine. Two more great examples are the unrestored and restored 1912 Pierce Arrow bikes. "The Meadow Brook Concours was a success and the motorcycle display was phenomenal! I had forty 4-cylinder bikes on the field and it was incredible - it was a huge favorite with the crowd and was difficult to get through the motorcycle area due to so many people looking at them. Best of Show Motorcycle - 1938 Indian 4 , owned by Ed Bortner." photos & report by Leslie Dreist (Classic & Exotic Service Inc. ; special thanks to vintage motor maniac Kees Koster)
