Originally a Freestone & Webb all weather cabriolet supplied to a Lady onwer in Farnham Royal. By the time the car reached the current owner/restorer the car had fallen into dilapidated condition & thus the decision was taken to conduct a nut & bolt rebuild of the mechanical aspects of the car & also to fit a new body. The results are stunning & indeed good eough for the car to have won Multiple prizes in the 20/25 class at the RREC Burghley House national rally.

The car comes with a plethora of photographs minutely detailing the mechanical works done to the car & also the construction of the body. The body is made in a traditional manner of kiln dried ash frame work crafted by a master joiner that was then clad in aluminium panels.

The engine has been line bored & the crank shaft reground to factory spec. New pistons have been installed along with new valves & the block rebored & a new head sourced. All other mechanical components such as the drive train & brakes have been stripped, disassembled & rebuilt. The engine needless to say runs in uncanny silence. The car has had an overdrive unit installed making it very relaxed at modern day speeds.

To the interior is green leather done to a very high standard along with green carpets. The interior woodwork is of particular note with satinwood banding along the bottom edge. The dickey seat folds readily open & the front part of the lid cunniingly folds back to form the seat base. A modern LED style vertical fuel gauge is installed on the dash board giving a modern version of the old style telegauge reading. Exterior paint is a mid to dark green along with mint green accents to the wheels & body line. A useful luggage rack is fitted to the rear allowing for several suitcases to be secured there.

The whole ensemble is a huge credit to the owner/builder who has devoted years & huge expenditure to produce the wonderful machine we find today.
