The 1940 BMW 327 was delivered on January 27, 1940, in Enzianblau by BMW importer Nibbrig & Greeve. After a period of deterioration, the car was restored by its current owner, a passionate restorer. Despite the car's poor condition, the owner saw potential in the project. The restoration began with a complete disassembly of the vehicle, with woodwork and much of the bodywork needing replacement. Parts were sourced globally, and every detail was carefully inspected.
The mechanical components were fully rebuilt, with repairs and replacements where necessary. New fenders and panels were installed, and the car was repainted in its distinctive blue/cream color. The iconic design was restored to its full glory. After months of hard work and patience, the BMW 327 was in top condition and had won several concours.
Although the car is in perfect shape, it is not driven often, asI already have another BMW 327. The car is now looking for a new owner who appreciates its technical and aesthetic value and wants to experience the driving pleasure.
