Spring !

Most people think that tulips are the monopoly of the Dutch. In fact we found them in Turkey in the 17th century and took them home, started to cultivate them in the hope to make a good buck. In fact we were quite succesful in doing so. Together with the windmill and wooden shoes the tulip became one of the Dutch icons. Now you are wrong when you think that this 1913 Baker Electrics car is pictured in Holland. When searching Google Images for tulip fields, you'll find more US and Canadian tulips than anything else. Back to the Baker Electrics advertisement(click here). Zoom into the logo (click) to find a mirrored version of Bugatti's 'EB'logo(www.Synlube.com). Anyone out there who can tell who nicked what from whom and when? (advertisement collection Hans Horwitz)
