A not so prewar Cadillac

Another high light at last weekend's Interclassics in The Netherlands. We were suitably impressed by this 1939 Cadillac 75 Imperial Landau, which is being rebuilt by Bart Holland. The exterior still looks fairly standard, but the interior is being upgraded to a high-end, modern standard. DVD-system, in-car TV with twin touch screens (click photo for detail), Internet, GPS-system, fridge, and much, much more. When this car will be finished its owner will able to travel the world in a modern, yet classic style, not unlike Detroit's new flagship(CNN.com) which will cruise down Pensylvania Avenue later today (photos/report Rutger Booy)
