A promise of something very special

Tuesday April 25th witnessed the presentation of next years Concours d’Elegance in Aranjuez. The day went beyond the best expectations of all involved. If the Concours goes ahead as planned, there’s no doubt the unique combination of an important historical site and gardens filled with 100 to 150 beautiful classic cars will be a huge success. The Aston Martin Owners Club plans to make one of the finest displays of its road and race cars ever; the Rolls Royce Enthusiasts Club of Madrid will present ten to fifteen of the most interesting Rolls Royces and Bentleys held in Spain and mr. Jules Heumann of the Hispano Suiza Society and Pebble Beach Concours d’Elegance has offered his help to bring several of the previous Pebble Beach winners. And of course there will be automobiles owned by some of the most passionate collectors and museums in Europe. But there will be more… How about a display of the finest horses in the 200 year old bullfighting ring in Aranjuez? Wine, food and music on offer to all who visit? Sounds good to us!
