Only two competitors this time who were able to recognise the the car. One came up with his solution too late as he was misled by our info of the 1906 Tourist Trophy. It was all about the very rare french make S.C.A.R. (Societé de Construction Automobiles de Rheims), not to be confused with the other French car SCAP, nor the Italian SCAT. A 1912 Model that used to be seen in various New Zealand rallies in the eighties of the twentieth century. That probably is also where this weeks's winner remembers the car from: J.C. Stokes of New Zealand, congratulations! The photos were providee by Hans Compter: the above car is a 1910 Type K Runabout, owned by a Mr Bernard Bonoron in France. Worldwide maybe 5 or 6 S.C.A.R.'s are known. The car in quiz # 112 was imported in NZ in 1913 and has a 4 cylinder 2,545 cc engine. Rumour has it that there is one SCAR in Belgium and one in Holland.
