The radiator was bought as a working part some 20 years ago. It was never been  fitted or tested but believed to be in good condition. There is no thermostat fitting.  Good chrome to the mesh grill. 

Pines Winterfront Thermostat as fitted to various makes  to control the shutters on the radiator. Thermostat is for sale as advertised with the lid and makers badge. It is also possible to rebuild your original thermostat  /  shutterstat  /  Calorstat  with new bellows and new liquid. Last photo is the thermostat before restoration...

1930/1931 Alfa Romeo 6c 1750 GT radiator in original condition 

Radiator made by Grenier-Mercier (GM) of Avenue de Bouvines 8 - Paris for a small single or 2 cylinder De Dion of circa 1909. Surround needs small repairs but is in quite good condition for its age. The core will need to be replaced.
