A lovely original bronze bodied 1 1/4” SU carburettor. It’s totally complete and in good original condition. All parts move freely and it is fitted with the desirable bronze piston. A very rare opportunity to acquire an original 48K Zénith carburettor. The correct and original type for supercharged T35B and T51 Grand Prix Bugatti. The carburettor is in superb condition and was overhauled recently. 48Ks virtually never come up for sale, and it is a reluctant sale, but I need to scale down - a bit!  I am open to serious offers. ..

Unfinished project , these carbs are similar but not a matched pair types 1340 and 1340B , one has a bronze piston the other ali with a spring but both have the same effective weights . On a repro Riley inlet manifold , there are no choke levers
