At last some fresh air again !

Not all war stories are sad. Willem Sas (former Dutchman now living in Scotland) sends this photo of his mother showing off a prewar Cyrus 'vicar's bike' that the family had kept hidden inside(!) a huge steamboiler. From her gesture you can read she was not really the family's biker. Click mum to check Willem's dad.... the coat, hat, shawl, woollen gloves + cigarette is characteristic for the Dutch worker-commuter until halfway the sixties.
