From the ads we received recently one can learn how important it is to run a website like this. The Knowledge is dying off.... More and more you can find engines at old car shows that nobody knows about, nobody can recognise. So it his highly important to identify as much material as possible now that it is still possible. Alan Fairbrother listed a considerable amount of interesting stuff during our end of year free listing happening. The water cooled one potter depicted here is a nice example (click photo for full engine). We hoped it was Auto Moto but it is not. UPDATE by Fons Alkemade: "I think the engine is from an 'Auto Fauteuil', a predecessor of the scooter. This vehicle was one of the many inventions by the French Georges Gauthier (1906; see also Georgano under Gauthier)
