During a recent Colorado tour the feature car was this 1903 Peerless (presently owned by Malcolm Barber of the UK). This was the very first car the town of Lake City in Colorado. We were all impressed by the road worthiness of the Peerless in view of elevations ranging from 6500 ft. to 9000 ft. The family of the original owner was also present, including Margaret Brown, the 102 year old granddaughter of the first owner Thomas Beam. Following the tour, the 1903 Peerless was loaded on a transporter to go to Pebble Beach. A winner in all our hearts and minds.

Update by Dick Trenk: "The Peerless is parked along the side of the Colorado Capital building in Denver. Near the front steps of this building is a sign saying the altitude is 5280 feet, hence the nick name of the "Mile High City."
