Updates from Paul Joppen and Harry van Coeverden came in. The Fiat has a partly known history. The 1935 508 Berlinetta was delivered new in Berlin (Niederlassung Charlottenburg), Germany. The doors bear the entangled intials W.H. possibly refering to a 1936 Mille Miglia participant Watzl or Winteler (who knows more about W or H ?). The car has all kinds of funny alterations. Like extra claxons under the driver's seat floor (to keep W.H. awake?). Also the dashboard is covered with marks of a sporting past. The Fiat is now awaiting restoration at Vancouver Restorations. The headlamp conversion may be the work of Siata, as the car is carrying two Siata plaques.
