Boulevard Lenoir, Paris

Today once more the largest autojumble of our days will start. How old autojumbles are you can see from this 1908 (!) photo which was sent by Joe Puleo: "Pictures from the 1908 issue of MoToR magazine. The caption reads: Where do the old cars go? In the old-iron market which is held annually on the Boulevard Lenoir, Paris, a section is given over to the display of "cast-off" cars, motors, tires etc. From the photographs above it would seem that many days of usefulness are still left in a large number of the parts offered for sale." ... How little has changed the last 97 years.
