Update III: by Bob McAnlis:"The six cylinder Matheson that still exists is in the Nethercutt Collection in California. It is a seven passenger touring. I believe it was in the Harrah collection before that and was brought out of its original carriage house in the East US by Robert Laurens in the late 40s or in the 50s."
Update II: by Andy 'Splashlube':"David Greenlees mentions 2 Matheson 1908 models he knows of but there is another one somewhere in the US. Its a 1911 50 HP six cylinder Sedan. Its listed as car number 1344."

Update by David Greenlees:"As far as I know there are only two Matheson cars left, both 1908 models one restored and I do not know the condition of the other. I am not aware of any Silent Six's that have survived."

When you read about the forgotten make of Matheson it is a car of great quality with lots of heroic competition history. Any Matheson cars still around? So far we only found a nice and costly 1911 Silent Six brochure(McLellansAutomotive.com). What we really like to see is a driver's report and nothing else. Well soem vintage photography won't hurt ;-)) Very soon a series of driver reports will start on these pages. So start writing an scanioing your photos when you want to be part of it!
