Christie's 1939 Auto Union GP keeps roaring !

Few people missed the uproar caused by the withdrawl of the 1939 Auto Union GP just one week prior to Paris Rétromobile auction by Christie's. Audi also has confirmed that chassis 19 is a genuine 1939 D Type chassis and that it was first raced by Rudolf Hasse in 1939 at the Nurburgring. In the 1939 French Grand Prix the car finished six with Hans Stuck. For more see next page or Go Here.
