Crossing the Alps

Many of our readers like to use their cars in the way they were being meant to use. Take for instance these pictures by Hans van Ingen Schenau during the 50th anniversary of the SMVC, the Swiss Pre-war Car Club. To celebrate this event, the club organized a tour through Switzerland. Instead of taking an Italian car, Hans chose to ride with Karl Blöchle, who owns this 1925 Vauxhall 30/98. During the four-day event the participants, among them many with a pre-war car, crossed several Alp passes. It’s obvious that the participants had a real good time.
