CycleKarts: Back to the fun of the twenties.

The twenties were the Golden Era for cyclecars & voiturettes. Light and ultralight sportscars to enjoy for the middleclass as well. Especially French and English factories were pouring them on to the roads and tracks. Morgans, Darmonts, Salmsons, MG's and maybe a few hundred(!) other makes. Later everything had to be faster, more professional and more expensive and the art of light racing disappeared. Well let's say it gradually changed into karting. And that's something completely different. So these Californian kart-enthusiasts went back to the roots and started building 'CycleKarts'. One has to be blind not to see the fun of it. But if you want speed, perfect roadholding, braking and that sort of thing, forget it and go karting. These cyclekarts are not for sale, but you can find a loads of know-how and support at the site of the AMCK. Click the photo for a line-up of cyclekarts.(photos courtesy AMCK)
