A week ago we visited Disneyland Paris and discovered a few tiny spots of automotive history. Yet we couldn't find a reason why Hertz is providing several anonymous, nameless, makeless brass era cars like the one showing here, while they have a rich history which started back in 1918 (Hertz.com)and probably have a large archive of early rental car photos. We'll have to find out (the only other early rented car we know of is the little Matthis Isadora Duncan used shotly before her sudden death in Nice, 1927). Anyone of you who has an early Hertz photo? The parkinglot where Hertz keep their Disney-specials has a nice fence. Click the photo for that shot. A truly great disappointment for us was not ot find a trace of the worlds by far most famous virtual car: the 1934 Belchfire Runabout. Never heard of? The name may not be familiar to you, but yopur recognise the looks of the car and its owner instantly, 100% sure ---> so brush up your knowledge on automotive history (click) by visiting this brilliant page by Gilles Maurice about a most important car. Be sure to check the mainpage there as well. (photo by editor)
