Last weekend at Villa d'Este was just brilliant. Fabulous weather and cars to match. Surprisingly the overall winner of this BMW (!) supported Concours was a Mercedes-Benz! But let's face it, very few cars can beat the SSK 'Trossi'. Most certainly after a Ralph Lauren / Paul Russel hairdo... A vintage photo of the car featured earlier at these pages. In our view the most interesting issue of this car is the fact that incredible one-off 'black whale' coachwork was designed and made by the far from wellknown London coachbuilder Willi White.
