Thank you Rik Nicolaas and Doug Harris for sending up to date info on the World Tour. See New Zealand Herald.
EARLIER: Only yesterday some 50 Flying Ladies left Auckland New Zealand for a glorious world tour to cherish the fact that their private means of transport has prooved to be a trustworthy companion already since 1903. Now don't you think these are 100 year old girls! It is not done to discuss the year of birth of ladies in public, but we can assure you that Charles Sykes creation(SculptureGallery.com) was born years and years later. Anyway, the gals will be on tour untill the 4th of May when they will reach the sacred ground where it all began. When you happen to live along the route between Auckland and Finish you are invited to send photos of the passing girls and their means of transport. The photos that will be published on these pages will be rewarded with the PreWarCar badge. No need to explain that we will look for the different photo, the other angle. Up to you to decide what is different. For inspiration here a few F.L. examples (Swammelstein.nl) . Photo by editor, click it for the New Zealand route > WorldTour2004.co.nz
