Greetings from Switzerland.

A photo sent to us by one of our very early old car friends Fredi Vollenweider from Swiss. It is not from his family album and in fact we should look around the mother and her to children to detect an extremely rare car. Fredi wrote: "Yesterday I got a very interesting picture of my friend Urs P. Ramseier of the Swiss Car Register. The picture, taken in 1946, is showing one of only two built Peugeot 402 Convertible with coachwork by Worblaufen (Fritz Ramseier + Co.) from 1936....." Worblaufen came into the business in 1900 and became in the 1930's one of Switzerland's most wellknown coachbuilders and won prizes with special bodies based on Isota Fraschini Tipo 8A (Cannes 1933) and Mercedes SSK (Zürich, 1935). This Peugeot was not the only Peugeot they did. See the Worblaufen page (photo courtesy Swiss-Cars.ch).
