Baron Enguerrand de Coucy (initials E.C.), accepted member of the very exclusive ANF -Association de la Noblesse Française and possibly family of Alexander I of Scotland. Anyway Enguerrand spent all his life and money to building one off voiturette prototypes. With a special liking for eight in line 750 cc, twincam, blown engines, which was a costly and sure recipe for failure. The cars were easy to recognise by the very peculiar and elegeant keyhole shape of the radiator. A shape that continues itself along most of the bodywork. As expected the car on the photo has no De Coucy engine but a far less noble 4 hole, presumably Simca unit. (information courtesy Baron A. Lafitte de Montripier, photos by editor)
