'If I crank it here,
I'll crank it anywhere....'

Ever cranked a real car on a hot day? Better bring it down to the middle of a river first... like this 1907 Maxwell owner. David Greenlees reports: "I sent these photos along to dispel the notion to you folks in other parts of the world that think all of us here in the U.S. over-restore our cars and do nothing but show them Show after Show. The car is a 1907 Maxwell 2-cyl. model H belonging to John (nice legs) and Dorcas Layport of Massachusetts. They were on tour in Pennsylvania recently. All 70 cars made through and only John's Maxwell stalled because the flywheel is in the front, throwing up the water. Photo credits Robert Darby.
