Junkyard Ford
(UPDATE: too late.... )

Rutger Booy reports: A few years ago I was driving near Teruel in Spain (staragon.com) when I suddenly spotted a junkyard full of older cars. Always a good reason to stop and after convincing -in my best Spanish- the proprietor I only wanted to make some photographs, he let me wander around on my own. Among the piles of junk I found several prewar cars, a thirties American Ford without any doors, and a 1932 Citroën Van with wooden bodywork that seemed pretty well restorable. But really worthwhile was this Ford AA truck that had been in daily service until very recently. I only hope it found a new owner to give it some tender loving care. (photo: Rutger Booy)

UPDATE: Thilo Moerke of Ford Oldtimer und Motorsport Club Cologne e.V. writes:"Unfortunately the old Teruel junkyard has been demolished some years ago. I remember old buses filled with part and motorcycles. No idea where all the parts have gone, but I just wanted to avoid that your readers travel out to Northern Spain in vain." thank you Thilo!
