Knox revisited: orphan car needs head(s).

You may remember the N-type Knox with which Michel Laarman competed on the Beijing to Paris run last year. He had some trouble on the way, what did not stop him in being a successful finisher. However the problems are not solved yet. He is looking for one or two heads for the massive R-type engine. Early engineering expert David Greenlees explained that these cars are so-called 'orphan cars', lonely survivors with no mother or father car known. Thus parts -if any- are very hard to come by. We know it’s a far shot, but one never knows what Knox left-overs you keep in your garage or barn... As a start, Google has begun to scan books for the general public. Now you can dive into the printed history of The Knox Automobile Company by John Y.Hess, with one mouseclick... If you know of something, e-mail us.
