Looking for a new job!

We understand F-6176 is the first commercial registered in Essex, UK. The van was supplied to J.W. Pigg's Steam bakery in December 1912 when new. Second owner was a local farmer G. Palmer who purchased the 6 year old Model T truck in October 1918. Owner nr. three was Darby's of Wickford (April 1919). After this it went back to owner nr. 1 who kept the car for spares... A sad period for the car came until it was rediscovered in 1982 by a Mr. Graham Game who gave the Ford a 'ground-up' including an engine rebuild by Tuckett Brothers (UK). In 2001 the Model T van came in the hands of the long established firm F.W. Payne & Sons. After 5 years of service the van is still eager for new business opportunities and will be auctioned this Wednesday through H&H Classic Auctions.
