Michael Ware from the UK has contacted us. He helps compile the Lost and Found column in Classic and Sports Car. This column is all about finding cars which have been off the road for some years (probably 20 minimun) and which have surfaced again. There is a great fascination in the "barn find", the column is an extension of this interest. The cars have to have an interesting history to them, or a strange or amusing story attached to their being taken out of use and stored. The stories can be from any part of the world, but do need good photographs to go with them. If you think you know of any such cars in hiding, or have just found one yourself, why not contact Michael Ware or [email protected].
Ed.: the photo above is a Terraplane pick-up earlier published in Classic & Sports Car. Latest dustbag is this 1926 Auburn.
Have a look at Mark VII Classics what a sponge plus bucket of water can do to a car like that. (photo's courtesy Michael Wade)
