Madonna-s Amsterdam Speedster.
(UpdateI I: repro with lots of give-aways),

While the US let their eyeballs pop on former Alaska beauty queen Sarah Palin - running mate of the republican candidate John McCain (1936) - the 50 years young pop goddess Madonna conquered Amsterdam in a Speedster of the same vintage. She used Europe's portal to launch her new Sticky & Sweet tour. Of course referring to the attraction of the Auburn Speedster that delivered her to the center of the crowds. One could argue if this is the real deal Auburn or a replica.

UPDATE II came in form Bruce Earlin informing about the giveaways:"Modern driving light, headlight (sealed beam), chrome wire wheels, mirror; Lack of Auburn "flying lady" on 1/4 panel, small rectangular badge on rear of bonnet, circular impression on side of cowl ahead of door handle."
UPDATEs came in from Rick Carey, JP van de Bundt, Jim Duncan, Kit Foster, Bruce Earlin, James Profitt, Gary Wales, Peter Boyd, Paul Duchene (most are experts in this field) who all agree that this is a recent replica. The wheelsize, rims and non specified details give away its identity. Paul Duchene adds:"Almost certainly a plastic reproduction Auburn 852 speedster, powered by a Ford 460ci V8, with automatic transmission ....average selling price about $45,000". That being said. The original design is so attractive that the Auburn Speedsters is being reproduced in vast numbers untill fairly recent.
