15 April 1930. The team Caracciola - Werner in powerslide on a gravel road with more than a handful of 720 SSK Mercedes. Maybe the very same car (note the different wings) (www.NeubauerPhotos.com) participated in last years MM. It's just one of the great vintage photos in a Mercedes publication by the Negri Foundation of Brescia, Italy. My contact with them -Gabriele Chiesa - is a professional photographer himself, who also was responsible for the online photo-report of the start of the event.
