Wireless telephony started slightly prewar. Even in a small country like Holland. The first telephone connected to the regular telephone network without any wire was on board of a mud displacing vessel. More appealing to us is the tele-machinery on board this 1939 Cadillac, model 78 with on board a Motorola receiver. But soon, very soon a whole new perspecive on mobile phones and prewar cars will be disclosed. Watch this space!
