Jim Baird from New Zealand presented us with the photos of his Barnfind. It’s a 1916 Buick Roadster that’s quite unusual as it has a locally built body. Chassis were imported in New Zealand by dealers under a franchise agreement with the General Motors Export Company -an organisation set up in 1911 to sell all GM products outside of the United States and Canada- and then had a body made to customers orders. These locally built Buicks are very hard to find nowadays, so it looks like a worthwhile restoration to us. But still a long way to go, Jim!
