Is there a better way to present yourself on the classic car auction market then with a fresh barnfound Bentley? Brightwells from the UK already was active in a wide range of auction activities, but now is entering the classic car arena with a small but attractive choice of cars and automobilia. The 1931 Bentley project is a 4 litre with a Vanden Plas DHC coachwork. Although the car looks like in need of a full restoration, the paint and upholstery "are believed to be original and untouched since 1931". The estimate of GBP 68,000 - 75,000 seems ambitious, but who knows what a (re)emerging car will do nowadays...? Click the photo to see what a few hours of fettling can do. Auction: June 1st, we wish the newcomers luck. (photos courtesy Brightwells Ltd.)
