Next Sunday: London-Brighton. This Sunday: Recoleta-Tigre !

An event that is just slightly 'newer' than London Brighton is the -in the Western world not very well known: Recoleta - Tigre rally organised by the Club de Autos Clásicos de Argentina. The rally originally was held from 1906-1918 and is eligible only for pre WW I (i.e. pre 1919) cars. The 'parcours' is from downtown Buenos Aires to the nearby city Tigre. PreWarCar has enterd a team of two cars ;-))). One is the here depicted 1916 Studebaker with driver Osvaldo Moran and 'mechanic' José Gomez. The other car is a Model T racer with the brother in law of Osvaldo as driver and mechanic: T.B.A. We'll report on the results asap. (photo Rafael Vallejos)
