UPDATE III, Oliver Wiegand from Germany reports:"The monument is in Leipzig, Germany dedicated for the "Völkerschlacht bei
Leipzig" (this is a 1913 memorial: see Quedlinburgweb.de') >>> For a short desription proceed to Read More.
UPDATE II by Hans Compter:"The car is an approx. 1924 or 1925 FN-1300 I think. Some coachwork on the Impéria 1100 was very similar but their radiators were slightly pointed and not angular on the sides. They also had less cooling-ribs in the sides of the bonnet."
UPDATE I: We received several suggestions regarding the 'monument', one saying Ossuaire de Douamont (Verdun, France), the other the war memorial of Ypres, Belgium. Both give mis-matches on Google Images. We will welcome fresh guesses.
EARLIER text: No idea about where this sad monumental location is. Nor about the car. The saloon coachwork looks like Weyman and the overall impression suggests something French. We are sure you will help us out. Clic the photo for more detail on the car. (collection Bruno Costers)
