Now what do we have here? (Update-s: Unsolved )

Update: Peter Ransom & David Greenlees have decided it is no Mercer. The Mystery is unsolved.
Update III by Peter Ransom:"Mercers of the era DID have a strap over the hood, but for my money the hood is just far too long for a 4-cylinder engine. There's something longer under there! As far as the lights go, the logical combination was electric headlights and oil or kerosene sidelights (that could burn when the car was standing and not drain the battery), not the other way round. The slim profile of the wheels and tyres isn't like anything I can see for Mercers. In fact, all the 1911-13 Mercer pictures show 12-spoke wheels front and back, while the mystery car has 10-spoke front wheels."
Update II by David Greenlees: "I believe the car in question in fact has gas headlamps, a close look just behind the rim shows the chimney or font for venting proposes. It was common for a mixture of gas and electric side lights in the 1911-13 period. After looking at a lot of Mercer photos I stand by my guess. The head light fonts are exactly like a Mercer along with the hood strap."
Update I: David Greenlees(US) and Peter Ransom(AU) agree ont the little 'light' being a Klaxon horn (model 20). More or like this one (clic) But they do not agree on the car itself...! David suggests: "If it is an American car without seeing the radiator front profile I would guess and go out on a limb that it may be one of our legendary T-head Mercers of about 1912-3. The proportions and size are right." However Peter writes: My guess is that this car is not American, unless it's had some sort of an update. It has electric lighting, which became fairly universal around 1912-13, but the front fenders are of the style that was generally out of date by 1911 (Lozier, Packard and National were some exceptions). The strap over the bonnet (hood) is also unusual for USA cars." Now who is going to fill in the blanks?
