Last Friday at Hershey spectacular prices were made for a collection of unrestored cars which were auctioned by RM. A dynasaur like 1911 Oldsmobile Limited (click main photo or see more pics here) fetched a smashing 1,650,000 dollar. Must be the very best price for an Oldsmobile ever, restored or not. We can only see this result as a victory to the school for those who believe there is a great future for preserved and never restored cars. Let's hope we have it right and that - like rumour says - the car is now owned by a man who wants to get the car rolling again without adding any paint....
