This Friday October 12 will see an auction of an extraordinary line-up of cars. The looks are quite different from the proud shine and gleam you may know of HCCA tours . These cars seem to have stopped for a short rest and never left. Look after the tires of the 1904 Cadillac depicted here, or better order a new set for the green 1906. Start up the whispering early Franklin or take your friends with the Winton Six. They all seem ready to leave as soon the tanks are filled and the drivers have emptied their coffees. When you have the chance to check them before RM's sale, keep in mind that these cars will never be together .... in this exceptional condition. No need to cry about that. Just keep in mind when you buy one of these, that we are just the caretakers. When you are gone, these cars will still be here. Shiny and restored.
