Ploughman's delight

Your editor was out for the weekend to find himself up to his ankles in the clay of a Dutch island called Texel. Here we found some chaps who go even further then maintaining a vintage tractor. No, they don't race them. They do ploughing contests, a game of beauty... The furrow should not only be straight, but also nicely cut, completely overthrowing the old surface, etc, etc. To be honest I forgot about the furrows and kept my eyes on this John Deere 1936. A hybrid (gas/kerosine) 5,5 L 140x170 two cylinder with the sweetest agricultural thumb-thumb you can imagine. I knew there are more out there with an old tractor in their barn, but did you ever hear from an online vintage tractor auction???????? Click the pic and there you go. (photo editor)
