Preparing for London-Brighton... 2008

We are used to the pictures of people participating 'without any major problems' in the London Brighton Veteran Car Run. Not so often we see the struggle people go through even before they arrive at the Start. Here an example (there's more to come). Not so very recent... Martin Grangé (France) promised to send a photo of his 1904 C.G.V. (Coupé automobile du Roi) as soon as the coachwork would be back on the chassis. You can see the work so far as realised by Marcadier SNC in Charente. Martin also writes: "We have still a lot of work on the car and I hope only to be ready for the Brighton run of 2008 (when the car should look again like this ...click)!.... May-be !" (photos Martin Grangé)
editor: not too many CGV are participating in LtB 2007, check here (click) but we have seen some wellknown cars and visitors from these pages.
