In an ideal world we would like to come up with a new make every week. Like it must have been in the twenties. Never more makes were being marketed than in that decade. As if everybody who could bend a piece of iron started his own carfactory. This Lyon built Philos (1912-1923) is a decent pre WW I example with 4 cylinder 1100 cc Ballot engine(click). Last week it was found less than 2 miles from the home of the new owner who is looking for any kind of documentation to finalise the restoration that was commenced by an earlier owner.
