You don't expect to be over-taken by a lone wheel when racing, but that's exactly what was happening here on the long straight at Donnington 'See Red'(click) VSCC meeting last weekend. Simon Blakeney Edwards' Frazer Nash shed a wheel during one of the many varied races of the meeting. The meeting was an excellent one to finish the VSCC racing season with cars ranging from the mighty Mors 'Le Sanglier' to group C/GTP sports cars and classic Grand-Prix motorcycles. Spectators were treated to demonstrations of the Mercedes-Benz W125 , which appeared at Donnington seventy years ago and still manages to impress on the track today. (report and photos by Liz Cawley)
