SuperStutz find ! (Update)

Al Sanclemente reports about the incredible barnfind he was able to acquire with his father recently. It's the 1928 Stutz BB Schumacher Special. Click the photo to see the side and to experience a bit more what's so special about this outrageous car that will make Jay Leno's stuff look like boyz toyz. This ultimate Stutz has been hibernating in a central Massachusetts barn since 1951... There has been speculation about this car already for years; in the CCCA magazine the car was subject of various articles. But now the monster is making its comeback we really want to know what the backgrounds of this one off are. Duesenberg historian Fred Roe is preparing a new full article on the car and welcomes any insight which is not yet known. UPDATE: Al Sanclemente wrote us that just yesterday Fred Roe has seen the Schumacher Special (7 December 2005) for the first time in 66 years...
