You may not instantly recognise these men. But we all have a Jack Hoffman and a Delyle Beyer in our region or club. Men like this are the heart, the backbone of the hobby. These guys are the last two that were also present at 1968 founding group of the Wisconsin Region of the CCCA. They were there then and were always present since and are still keeping the spirit alive. This photo was taken during the 40th anniversary of the club, early August. Most of the cars present have benifitted at least from some restoration over the years. The exception was the 1939 Alvis Speed 25 owned by Bill and Maria Tess. This car may have had a respray but is basically unrestored. It is not exactly the kind of car you expect to find in the middle of the US, but the one left of it needs no furthe introduction after Fridays's appearance of Madonna. Check the great line up you could enjoy during there: interesting cars . Hurrah for the Wisconsin Region, but more important hurrah to loyal men like Jack and Delyle !!!! (photos and info Tom Edfors)
