As you could read earlier is the holy Christopher the saint who is helping and offering protection to all those who are travelling. Now Rutger Booy from the Netherlands wrote to us that there is a little village in Normandy, France with the name St. Christophe-Le-Jalolet. The church of the little town is devoted to Saint Christopher and every last Sunday of July and the first Sunday of October many car drivers come together to receive the blessings of St. Christopher through the local priest. The lovely picture you see here is on the outside of the church. Of course we enlarged it to be your Screen Saver during your holidays. In case your style of driving does require more then one Saint Christopher see this Google gallery. But remember the saying we once saw under a prewar racing car: 'Better to be 5 minutes late in this world than 20 years to soon in the next.' (photo Rutger Booy)
