The Cheapest Car in the World !

1oo years ago this vehicle was advertised with the above headline. Today it is the second succesful London to Brighton participant (3 times !!!) that enters this marketplace (Orient page). Of course you saw it at first glance ;-) " ...this must be a 1903 Orient Buckboard!" For those among you who did need a second or two more a short freshening-up on this particular car by the current owner Howard Day: "This rear engine Orient Buckboard was built in 1903 ( Waltham Manufacturing Co., Waltham Mass. US) and has a continuous known history since the 1920’s. Taken in part-exchange by a garage it was never sold and remained in store until the early 1960’s when saved from being scrapped...
