Last month, parts of Germany, the Netherlands and Belgium experienced terrible weather. Rivers quickly overflowed, causing much damage and several people were killed. A terrible time for everyone.
We also received bad news on the car front. The Musée Impéria Nessonvaux was up to one and a half metres under water and the building has partly collapsed; cars were badly damaged, showcases were taken away by the water and all the doors are gone. It is now dangerous to enter the building. This means the end of the museum and their collection of cars. Our editor visited the old Impéria factory a couple of years ago, read more here.
The cars are to go back to their owners and will most likely be restored. Sadly, the collection of books, leaflets, drawings etc. of the Belgian Impéria brand have all been lost.
We wish all concerned the very best and hope to see the cars again in the future.
